I have worked with people experiencing a variety of different circumstances or mental health concerns. Many of my clients have begun counselling looking for support with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, stress, insomnia, panic attacks, obsessive behaviours, self harm and suicidal thoughts.

Often, but not exclusively, these have stemmed from a life event, childhood experiences, difficult relationships, bullying, work place stress or trauma. I have gained extensive experience in working with different types of abuse and inter-culturally.

Importantly, sometimes people feel they don’t fall into a ‘serious’ enough category to warrant or deserve a counselling relationship. I cannot stress enough that counselling can also be useful for people experiencing sadness, loneliness, discomfort or struggling to find motivation. There is no prerequisite of your life circumstances to enter into counselling, and a simple desire to understand your thought processes and emotional responses, or share your experiences is quite sufficient.
